She is a boy?

Yes. Bridget is a MALE.
He was born in a village where twins of the same gender are bad luck. His superstitious family decided to raise him as a girl. However, as Bridget reached puberty, he decided to prove his mascuilinity by becoming a bounty hunter. His weapons are a yo-yo and a giant, robot teddy bear name Roger. He first appeared in Guilty Gear XX and continues to make an appearance in the Guilty Gear XX Series and Guilty Gear Isuka.

Character Design Background

When Bridget was first created, he was design as a girl, which explains why he is so feminine looking. He turned into a boy when Ishiwatari wanted to make him more memorable, and he did an amazing job at that. According to Ishiwatari Daisuke, Bridget is his alter ego (?).
Some music references to Bridget are from two of his attacks. Kickstart my Heart is a reference to a son by an American metal band Motley Crue's album Dr. Feelgood. His second attack, Shoot the Moon is from the song by Mr. Big's album Take Cover.
